Appliances market collective decline

China Yikang monitoring data showed that in the first half of 2014, the washing machine market showed a negative growth, with retail sales of 16.15 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 4.8%, and retail sales of RMB29.3 billion, a decrease of 0.3%. In the first half of the year, the retail sales of refrigerators amounted to 17.25 million units and retail sales amounted to RMB 43.6 billion. Yuan, dropped by 10.5% and 8.6% respectively. Aowei Consulting's monitoring data shows that in the first half of 2014, the sales volume of color TV reached 20.93 million units, a decrease of 9%; sales of 69.6 billion yuan, a decrease of 15%.

The above-mentioned leading home appliance companies rose by more than 1% on Monday, and some companies rose by more than 4%.

The overall increase of 35 listed companies in the home appliance sector reached 1.26%. Last year, the leading system for household appliances energy efficiency was ready to go, but many leading companies such as Gree, Midea, etc. said “No” to the subsidies and support policies. This plan has been put on hold for nearly a year, and it has been retransmitted and restarted, except for energy saving and emission reduction.
