Solid-state hard disk U disk

Solid-state hard disk U disk At the CES 2001 exhibition, Kingston did not show any special products, but released a road map that showed its determination to push the USB 3.0 interface this year.

First for enthusiasts and high-end users, Kingston will launch the new solid-state drive "DataTraveler HyperX 3.0", known as the fastest USB 3.0 hard drive, will become the flagship model of the HyperXperience product line. This series is a supplement to HyperX high-end memory, covering solid-state hard disk, U disk, flash memory card and other products.

In September, Kingston will release the "DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0" U disk, referred to as the DTU30, which is the first USB 3.0 U disk that uses the SATA bridge chip to significantly increase the transmission speed.

Once the single-chip controller is certified and listed, Kingston will immediately update the second-generation DTU30 to achieve better compatibility and read/write speeds. The capacity is expected to be 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

As more and more PCs come with USB 3.0 interfaces, especially at the end of the second quarter of this year to the beginning of the third quarter, Kingston will also provide an entry-level USB 3.0 USB flash drive. The capacity is small and the price will be low. It is helpful to promote the further popularization of USB 3.0.
