What are the advantages of LED?

Energy saving:

LED power consumption is very low, generally the operating voltage of the LED is 2-3.6V. The operating current is 0.02-0.03A. This means that it consumes no more than 0.1W. LED luminous efficiency is high. The mainstream white LED launched in 2007 has a lumen value of about 60-90. This efficiency is extremely significant for incandescent lamps with luminous efficiencies of only 14-17.5 lm/w and halogen lamps with efficiencies of 16-21 lm/w.
Luminous efficiency is an important indicator of energy savings, but not all, especially for directional light sources. long life:

The illuminating mechanism of incandescent lamps is that electric energy heats and emits luminescent tungsten wires. After a long period of heating, the tungsten wires will age or even burn out. At this point, the life of incandescent bulbs ends, and the luminescence mechanism of LEDs ends. It is determined by the special composition of the diode. The diode is mainly composed of a PN junction chip, an electrode and an optical system. When a forward bias is applied to the electrode, electrons and holes are injected into the P region and the N region, respectively. When the balance of minority carriers and majority carriers is balanced, excess energy is converted into light energy in the form of radiated photons. The illuminating process consists of three parts: carrier injection under forward bias, composite radiation, and light energy transmission. It can be seen that the diode is mainly illuminated by the continuous movement of carriers, and there is no aging and burning phenomenon. Its special illumination mechanism determines its luminous lifetime of up to 50,000-100,000 hours.

It emits very little heat, does not waste too much heat like incandescent light, does not produce toxic gases like high-energy energy like fluorescent lamps, and does not require high voltage and is easily damaged like neon lights.
