According to the "Tianjin Semiconductor Lighting Application Engineering Implementation Plan", the Tianjin LED project will be organized and implemented in the form of the latest technology and product pilot demonstrations, and will be carried out in modules: LED Road, LED Campus, LED Eco-City, LED Binhai New Area, LED Industry Park, LED community, LED Universiade. At present, the application of LED demonstration module project in Tianjin Binhai New Area, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, as well as several industrial parks and key projects has begun.
According to the Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, through the combination of production, education and research, Tianjin will cultivate 100 enterprise clusters in Binhai New Area, with an output value of 10 billion yuan, and finally build a national-level semiconductor lighting R&D and achievement transformation base.
