Design and Implementation of Smart Wireless LED Color Matching System Based on PWM

1 Introduction

The LED is a solid-state semiconductor device. When a forward voltage is applied to both ends, the LED can directly emit different colors such as red, blue, green, and yellow according to different solid semiconductor luminescent materials. LED has the advantages of small size, light weight, long life, low driving voltage, high light efficiency, low energy consumption, safety, reliability and durability.

In this paper, three groups of red, green and blue LED lights are used. According to the principle of color synthesis, the PWM color modulating technology is used to design an LED color grading system that can realize multiple color conversion. The color grading system is composed of a touch screen color light controller and an LED three-base color light, and the two communicate with each other through the NRF24L01 wireless radio frequency module, thereby realizing short-distance wireless control LED lights, realizing the conversion of the brightness color of the LED lights. This will increase the indoor atmosphere and adjust the mood.

2, LED color principle

The three primary colors refer to red, green and blue. The human eye is most sensitive to red, green and blue. Most common colors are produced by mixing the three basic colors of red, green and blue in different proportions; the same principle Most common monochromatic light can also be decomposed into three basic colors of red, green and blue. This is the most basic principle of colorimetry, that is, the principle of three primary colors.

According to the principle of LED light, a certain DC voltage or pulse voltage is applied to the LED lamp to enable it to emit light normally. To change the brightness of the LED lamp, it can be realized by changing the DC current or adjusting the duty cycle of the pulse. To simultaneously adjust the brightness of the multi-channel LED light source, and then adjust the color of the LED light source, it is also necessary to have a three-way PWM function of the single-chip microcomputer to simultaneously adjust the brightness of the three-way (three-primary) LED lamp, and then use the principle of three-color synthesis of light. The light intensity of each of the three primary colors is changed to achieve the adjustment of the color of the LED lamp. At the same time, the cycle of the brightness and color of the LED lamp is realized by controlling the illumination period of the LED lamp.

3, the overall design of the system

The color grading system is mainly composed of a touch screen wireless controller (main control module) and an LED three-base color light (controlled module), and the two communicate with each other through the NRF24L01 wireless radio frequency module to realize short-range wireless control LED color The color change of the lamp, its system structure block diagram is shown in Figure 2:
