Cable laying safety precautions

1. The ambient temperature when laying the instrument cable should not be lower than the following temperature:

1) Plastic insulated cable 0 °C;

2) Rubber insulated cable -15°C.

2. The laying of cables should be arranged rationally and should not be crossed; during laying, the friction between cables and between cables and other hard objects should be avoided; when fixing, the tightness should be appropriate.

3. The bending radius of the plastic insulated, rubber insulated multicore control cable should not be less than 10 times its outside diameter. The bending radius of the power cable shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Cables for Installation of Electrical Installations" GB50168-92.

4. When the instrument cables and power cables are laid crosswise, they should be right angles; when laid in parallel, the distance between them should be in accordance with the design documents.

5. In the cable duct, AC power lines and instrument signal lines shall be laid separately with metal partitions.

6. When laying the cable along the bracket, it should be tied and fixed to prevent the cable from loosening.

7. The net distance between the instrumentation signal line laid in clear and the electrical equipment with strong magnetic field and strong electrostatic field should be greater than 1.50m; when using shielded cable or metal protection tube and laying in the metal cable groove with cover , should be greater than 0.80m.

8. When laying cables in tunnels or trenches, they should be laid on brackets or cable trays.

9. After laying the cable, make cable ends at both ends.

10. When making cable heads, the insulation tape should be dry, clean, wrinkle-free, and there should be no gaps between the layers; the insulation should not be damaged when the shielding grounding wire is pulled out; and the moisture-proof and oil-proof measures should be taken in the locations with wet or oil stains. .

11. The cable laying of the integrated control system and digital communication lines shall comply with the design documents and product technical documentation requirements.

12. The special cables supplied with the equipment shall be laid down according to the instructions of the product technical documents.

13. The compensation wire should be put on the protective tube or laid in the cable duct. It should not be buried directly.

14. When the switch or cold junction temperature compensator is not used between the compensation wire and the measuring instrument, the compensation wire and the instrument should be directly connected.

15. When the compensation wire is connected to the middle or the terminal, it must not be connected to the wrong polarity.

16. Instrumentation signal lines, instrument power supply lines, safety interlock lines, compensation lines, intrinsically safe instrument lines, and other special instrument lines shall each use their own protective tubes.
