Contactor failure analysis and processing method

(1) For serious overcurrent short-circuit in the post-stage, such as explosion of the inverter bridge module, explosion of the filter electrolytic capacitor, etc., check whether the contactor is affected. Common damages are contact ablation, sintering, and contact device burning distortion.

(2) A small number of contactors will break the control wire package and will not operate at all.

Analyze the cause of the damage

(1) There is a short circuit in the rear stage, and the over-current fault causes contact ablation.

(2) The quality of the wire package is not good, and the wire package is burned and burned, and the wire cannot be sucked.

(3) For a contactor with a line, it may not operate due to damage to the electronic circuit, so it is better not to use such a contactor.

(4) The flame was damaged due to explosives.

Replace contactor

(1) Replace the same product with the same type, size, and package voltage. If the model is different, the performance, size, and voltage should be the same.

(2) If there are old contactors, they can be repaired by replacing the internal parts, but they must be properly assembled according to the original internal assembly.

(3) For contacts that are not severely ablated, they can be carefully sanded with a fine sander cloth.

(4) The copper strips and wires connected to the screws must be tightly tightened to reduce heat generation due to high currents flowing through the contacts.
