System Overview
Highway monitoring system is used for traffic monitoring, traffic information and meteorological information collection, analysis, release and traffic guidance. System principle
Due to the high number of toll stations on the highway and the disperse layout and distance, the system adopts a star topology: one PD host is the center, and several P4 hosts serve as video monitoring points for each toll station. CCD cameras are set up at each toll station for local monitoring, and their signals are transmitted to the monitoring center for centralized monitoring, thereby realizing the conditional image monitoring of the freeway toll gates. Because the on-site image needs to be saved, the monitoring center server has a large demand for storage capacity. The IEC-541 host can meet this requirement and it can meet the requirements of multiple hard disk storage.
