Figure 5.24 is a normally open two-position three-way electromagnetic ball directional valve. It is mainly composed of left and right valve seats 4 and 6, ball valve 5, spring 7, joystick 2 and lever 3. The picture shows the power off state of the electromagnet, which is the normal position. The pressure oil in port P acts on the right side of the ball valve 5 on the one hand, and enters the cavity of the lever 2 through the channel 6 on the other hand and acts on the left side of the ball valve 5 to ensure that the hydraulic pressure on both sides of the ball valve 5 is balanced. The ball valve 5 is pressed against the left valve seat 4 under the action of the spring 7, P and A are connected, and A and T are cut off. When the electromagnet 8 is energized, the armature pushes the lever 3 and pushes the joystick 2 with 1 as a fulcrum, overcoming the spring force, so that the ball valve 5 is pressed against the right valve seat 6 to realize the reversal, P and A are cut off, and A and T are connected.
