Cree is confident that it is extending the warranty period for its entire range of lighting products to five years. The LR6-DR1000 has a luminous flux of 1000 lm at an output power of 125 W and a luminous efficacy of up to 84 lm/W. Compared with the conventional CFL luminaire, the LR6-DR1000 can achieve the same light output with only half the energy consumption. Gary Trott, the company's vice president of market development, said that by expanding the downlight series, it can solve higher ceiling applications while meeting the special aesthetics and power needs of many commercial spaces. The LR6 is currently available in the LR6-277V model, which is designed for use in a 277V high-voltage commercial lighting system with an output of 650 lm when the output power is 10.5W. Cree Announces CR6 LED Downlights for Residential Lighting Cree announced that its new 6-inch LED downlight for residential and commercial environments will be available at the end of this month. The design of this CR6 luminaire incorporates the essence of the old luminaires, using Cree's exclusive TrueWhite technology, combined with new structural features. CR6 is expected to keep the retail price at $60. The CR6 is now ENERGY-Star certified and has a light output efficiency of up to 64 lm/W.
