Second, the project brief

As a new generation of green lighting products, LED lighting is still in its infancy, and has different characteristics from incandescent lamps and energy-saving lamps. Most people (including those who have been engaged in the lighting industry for many years) have the ability and application level to replace traditional lighting products. There are varying degrees of lack of understanding. Therefore, the company decided to build a scene-style exhibition hall to show the effect of functional lighting and decorative lighting with LEDs through various scenes, and show the future of LED lighting through the comparison of LED lighting and traditional lighting effects in the same environment. tomorrow. The name of this exhibition hall is called "Tomorrow Lighting Space".

At the beginning of the project, we had contacted a number of professional design companies. Through communication, we found that professional design companies pay little attention to how to use the scene design to display lighting effects, and little is known about the new things such as LED lighting. In desperation, the company can only rely on years of experience in lighting engineering design and construction, relying on the understanding of self-developed products, designing itself, constructing itself, completely adopting self-developed products, which lasted 15 months and completed an area of ​​720m2. Design and construction of “Tomorrow Lighting Space” in 30 separate scenes.

Third, the project detailed route

"Tomorrow Lighting Space" uses 72 kinds of LED lamps, 5 kinds of CFL lamps, 14 kinds of LED light sources, and 5 kinds of CFL light sources. The total power consumption is 3250W and the average power density is 4.5W/m2.

The entire exhibition hall consists of 30 independent scenes of indoor and outdoor home, business, leisure and entertainment. The different scenes are guided by LEDs on the ground to form separate and interconnected wholes. Each room is equipped with an LED display that shows the power of the lighting products currently in use in the area.

2. Innovations in lighting design concepts and methods:

Lighting design concept

Light is in the shadows - full respect for precious shadow resources, using shadows to depict light;

Seeing no light at all - minimizing the luminaires of the image to make it harmonious with the environment and humanities;

Less is more – express the rich scenery with “less” design;

Invisible to tangible - the tangible object is perfectly displayed through invisible light.

The scene-style exhibition hall designed according to the above lighting design concept forms a three-dimensional space composed of light and light and shadow; the lamps are either hidden or integrated with the space; the light is fully utilized, thereby reducing energy consumption.

In addition, LEDs are characterized by small size, narrow beam, low heat generation, monochromatic or discolored (dynamic or static). LED lighting products designed with these features can make efficient use of the light emitted by LEDs, and can achieve a certain part of the highlights with only 1/10 or even lower power of traditional lighting products, or create a colorful environment. For example, in crafts and jewelry displays, low-power LED lighting can make the display shine, and because it does not emit ultraviolet light itself, there is very little heat dissipation, and long-term illumination will not damage the object being illuminated.
